Anthony Reyes is a Software Engineer studying Computer Science and Finance at the University of Central Florida. He is expected to graduate in Spring of 2012 with a double Bachelor of Science degree.

Occupation

Anthony is currently employed by the University of Central Florida and works with the Center for Distributed Learning as a Web Developer. He is a member of the New Media team which focuses on developing new and intuitive ways to educate and assess students at the university.

The New Media team currently focuses on two main projects: Kogneato and Obojobo. Both projects are Flex based and powered by Actionscript. While working on Kogneato, Anthony has been exposed to several web programming languages and technologies including Actionscript, Javascript, PHP, SQL, HTML and CSS. Most or all of the work for this employer was done in Actionscript and involved strong Object Oriented Programming patterns and organization techniques.

Hobbies and Pastimes

Anthony's hobbies include leisurely reading, creative or competitive programming, keyboard and piano practice, and musical composition. He occasionally competes in TopCoder competitions to keep his programming skills current.
